He was just taking a look around briefly on one of his construction sites before the next meeting when he encountered an architect in the stairwell with whom he had worked together earlier on. They ask each other how things are going. «Well», says the architect, «I‘m working with Caretta+Weidmann again and, once again, working with a project manager for whom architecture is very important and to whom I like going for advice, like how to implement an important detail in line with requirements and at low cost». Occasionally, he is asked why he himself does not assume the task of overall coordination of the planning and building work. But he states that, time and time again, it has proven useful to receive support from an experienced partner who is pursuing the same aims with different means. He states that a partner like this lightens the load and lets him concentrate on the chief concerns centring on mature architecture. In the words of the architect: «Besides this, complex construction projects would be impossible to implement without practical delegation of the work involved». The architect then gives a wave and carries on his way.
