Caretta+Weidmann look back on a corporate history extending over 30 years. The company was set up in 1974 by father Oswald and his son Bruno Caretta. Heiri Weidmann joined the company in 1978. The company founders, right from the very start, devoted themselves to coordinate the planning and building work. They wished to assist architects with sophisticated planning and control methods when implementing their construction projects and wished to give property developers the security that, once cost and deadline agreements had been reached, they would also actually be met. This is still the intention of the Caretta+Weidmann workforce that has now grown to over 40. The associated work and services have become far more extensive in the meanwhile. The trust enjoyed today by Caretta+Weidmann among architects and property developers is also to be preserved by the coming generation. This is why the two sons of Bruno Caretta are taking over the helm in small, prudent steps.
